So, one of the goals in life coaching is to set up time to think about what changes you can enact in your life to get it more in balance. Richardson calls this time your "sacred date night," and I think it ties in pretty well with where I originally started this blog, which was the idea that my Sundays were MY days to recenter myself and get ready for the week ahead. Sometimes this means going to church and reconnecting with my faith and that community, and sometimes this means - like today - staying home and writing and thinking.
Zen Sundays are back in effect, as of today.
Taking care of myself on these recentering days will look something like this:
1. sleeping in
2. lazing around for a bit, enjoying the morning
3. maybe going to church
4. maybe going for a walk
5. definitely writing and thinking
6. doing some reading
7. physically pampering myself in some way
8. eating what my body wants (not my impulse foods)
